I'd be more inclined to expect the Q2 2023 release date, as it's around the time of the Diablo 2 Anniversary. Took them 4 years to get from announcement to release for D3. Team 3 is a LOT bigger than it was back then, so. It appears to be in roughly the same shape that D3 was when they announced that. They're almost certainly aiming for a Q4 2022-Q2 2023 release date. There main release games drop anything from 6 months to 4+ years after they announce. When they say "it's not coming out soon, not even Blizzard Soon", what that means is, "it's not coming out in the next 2 years, and we don't have a date for it beyond that".
